United Alliance Services is dedicated to offering internships to students who are committed to working in partnership with our safety professionals while completing their impending Occupational Safety and Health degree.  United Alliance provides an opportunity for interns to expand their textbook knowledge into the field through mentoring with our team of environmental, health and safety professionals.  We recognize our vital role in shaping the future of workplace safety by developing the next generation of leaders in the safety field of various industries, such as:  construction, general industry including manufacturing, medical, dental and maritime.  Interns receive grounding in the reality of workplace hazards and assist in the necessary compliance training implementation.

Interns are expected to assume full responsibility for an assignment and contribute to United Alliance’s team.  Interns work with, learn from and network with industry experts from multiple industries including major construction companies, gas and electric companies, port authorities and medical and dental offices.  Our interns demonstrate integrity, innovation, leadership competencies, communication skills, interpersonal skills, teamwork and initiative.

United Alliance Services has welcomed candidates from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne, MA, Keene State College in Keene, NH, Bristol Community College in Fall River and the University of Massachusetts.   We are currently working with other educational institutions in an effort to expand our internship program.
