Safety Training Grants from the DIA

 

Office of Safety’s Workplace Safety Training & Education Grant Program

            Program’s Fiscal Year 2012, Safety Training Grant.

The Department of Industrial Accident’s Office of Safety has released the Workplace Safety Training & Education Grant Program Application for Fiscal Year 2013.

The objective of this program is to promote safe and healthy conditions in the workplace by awarding state funds to eligible applicants who submit responses designed to provide and improve safety education and training in Occupational Safety and Health to employers/employees within the Commonwealth covered by the Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation Law (M.G.L. Chapter 152). Complete instructions will be detailed in the FY 13 Safety Training Grant Application. 

For your convenience, we have attached a copy of the FY13 Grant Application along with contractual paperwork that will be needed to complete your application.

COMPLETING THE CONTRACTUAL PAPERWORK IS INTENDED TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS; IT DOES NOT SIGNIFY YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED.

Please review the grant instructions and contractual paperwork instructions carefully as man requirements have changed.

Anyone who is interested in receiving a copy of the “FY 2013 Training Grant” may do so, by emailing safety@dia.state.ma.us, download a copy of the application from our website – www.mass.gov/lwd/workers-compensation/safety/forms or from the Operational Services Division (OSD) home page at www.mass.gov/osd. The completed grant application must be submitted electronically and sent to the Office of Safety at electronic.safetygrant@dia.state.ma.us.

APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ELECTRONICALLY ON A ROLLING BASIS BEGINNING MAY 1, 2012 THROUGH MARCH 29, 2013.
