We have snapped up another stellar Massachuetts Maritime alum- Michael Desrosier.  Michael is a consummate environmental, health and safety professional. Prior to joining United Alliance Services Michael worked as an environmental compliance officer, facility manager and environment health and safety analyst.  At O& G Industries Michael was responsible for annual production of hundreds of schools, commercial buildings, industrial projects, health care facilities, sports complexes, environmental projects and power plants where he reported on environmental hazards.   Michael has also participated in a federal OSHA inspection audit of a 52,000 square foot manufacturing facility, acting as the third party environmental health and safety analyst.  Mass. Maritime produces top quality graduates, and we are lucky to have Michael here at UASC. Michael is already onsite with one of UASC’s clients providing full time construction safety consulting services, where he is responsible for safety audits, reporting, and identifying at-risk trends among other safety operations.  Read more about Michael.Lonna Blais, CIH is best described as the ultimate combination of a field safety professional and an occupational health and safety educator. She is a certified industrial hygienist with 20 years of field experience as an OSHA Compliance Officer. Before her time with OSHA, Lonna worked as a lead industrial hygienist for Naval Medical Command in Portsmouth, NH.   In addition to her field experience she has twenty years of experience teaching occupational health and safety courses at Keene State College.  It is safe to say that her level of expertise is not easily matched, and we could not be happier to have her on our team.  Though her resume could easily be described as impressive, or possibly even intimidating, she is extremely personable.  Her approach, whether working with her co-workers or a client, is always that of a team player.Lonna is a certified OSHA Construction, General Industry and Maritime Outreach instructor. She will be instructing some of our OSHA outreach and occupational health and safety classes. She will also be  working with our clients to develop health and safety plans, perform risk assessments and audits, and ensure OSHA compliance and related OH&S regulations.
