Massachusetts OSHA General Industry Outreach Courses March 23-25

General industry refers to any industry that is not included in agriculture, construction or maritime.  Those who work in the healthcare and manufacturing industries are the most frequently required to take OSHA training by their employers.

OSHA General Industry Outreach courses give participants a better understanding of the OSHA 29CFR 1910 General Industry Standard. Some topics that are covered in the training include; bloodborne pathogens, hazard communication, respiratory protection, occupational noise exposure, powered industrial trucks, permit-required confined spaces, lockout/tagout, guarding floor and wall openings and holes, and personal protective equipment.

OSHA 10 Hour General Industry

March 23, 2015  8:00 am- 4:30 pm

This course is designed for all workers in general industry. Participants will become familiar with the OSHA 29CFR 1910 General Industry Standard. A variety of general industry topics will be covered during the course.

 

OSHA 30 Hour General Industry

March 23-25, 2015

8:00am – 4:30pm

$399/participant

This 30 hour course is geared towards supervisors and personnel who have responsibilities for safety program management. Those who have taken the OSHA 10 Hour General Industry course through United Alliance Services within the past six months, may qualify to take a shortened version of this course at a discount, as long as they have met the requirements put forth by OSHA.
