Why United Alliance Services Recommends PEC Core Compliance Training

United Alliance Services recommends the PEC Core Compliance-SafeGulf/SafeLandUSA training to employers in the oil and gas and petrochem industry. The Core Compliance training was developed in an effort to standardize and improve the variety of safety orientations of individual major operators. Here are our four reasons why we recommend it:

1) It’s the industry standard- most major operators in the United States, Canada and Qatar require this training in their pre-qualification surveys.

2) It covers over 30 topics beyond the awareness level, including; Excavation and Trenching, Hazardous Communication, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (Awareness and Operations level), Permit Required Confined Space (Entrant, Attendant, Supervisor), Offshore, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and more.

3) It is SafeGulf and SafeLandUSA accredited. SafeGulf and SafeLandUSA are volunteer organizations comprised of major operators, educators, industry associations and contractors in both onshore (SafeLandUSA) and offshore (SafeGulf) E&P industry.

4) Each student who completes the PEC Core Compliance training receives their SafeLandUSA certification, SafeGulf certification, and a PEC ID card. Their training and qualification information is kept in the PEC tracker database, allowing operators and contractors to validate employee credentials.
