Fall Protection Hazard Awareness
Course Description:
This four-hour awareness course is designed for the at-risk employee. The class will provide a basic understanding of the OSHA Standard for fall protection and the methods available to control fall hazards. This course is designed as a refresher course for the Competent Person and a must for anyone working in an environment where fall hazards exist.
Course Topics:
- Identifying fall hazards
- Introduction to the OSHA Standard
- Use and application of conventional fall protection systems
- How to use and inspect personal fall protection equipment
- Pre-planning techniques to eliminate falls.
Who Should Attend:
All employees required to work at elevations and who are exposed to worksite fall hazards.
