Remembering First Responders on 9/11

We at United Alliance Services remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001 as if it were yesterday. As an organization built around the expertise of our military veterans, EMT’s, Hazmat specialists, security specialists and safety professionals we have a tremendous appreciation for all those who put others before themselves, and for this we will be forever grateful.

Today we express our remembrance and sorrow for those that were lost in the tragic events of that infamous day on September 11, 2001. We wish the families and friends of those lost that day, peace in the days, weeks, months and years to come.

May we remember the sacrifices of the hazmat first responders, EMT’s. paramedics, firefighters and police personnel that went to do their sworn duty and died in the line of duty. And today we remember all those in our armed services who have kept us of out of harm’s way for the past 14 years and continue to provide us the freedom that we enjoy every day.

Join us in remembering with these two simple actions;

1. Flags at Half-Staff

On Sept. 11, a Presidential Proclamation orders that all American flags be flown at half-staff at individual homes, businesses, U.S. government buildings and the White House.

2. Moment of Silence

As part of the proclamation for Patriot Day, the President calls upon citizens to observe a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) to honor those who died on Sept. 11, 2001. The moment of silence marks the time the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

May we never forget!
